Kaleswaram (Telugu: కాళేశ్వరం) is the site of the famous Shiva temple called "Kaleswara muktheswara swamy", in the border of the Indian states of Telangana and Maharashtra. Kaleswaram village is in Mahadevpur mandal of Karimnagar district. It is 277 kilometers from Hyderabad, 125 kilometers from the town of Karimnagar, 115 kilometers from Warangal, and 60 kilometers from Manthani. Kaleswaram is located exactly at the merging point of the River Pranahita (tributary of Godavari) with the Godavari River.

Dharmapuri is an ancient town located in the Karimnagar district of Telangana, 60 km away from the district headquarters. It is mostly famous for Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple which is situated on the southern banks of Godavari which flows through the town. The most interesting fact of Dharmapuri is that the Godavari river flows from north to south direction unlike west to east in all other places where it flows and hence the river is termed here as Dakshina Vahini. This town is also one of the nine Narasimha Kshetrams. Due to presence of many temples in the area, it is also known as ‘Teertharajamu’. The town was ruled by King Dharma Varma and thus the name of the town was named after him as Dharmapuri.

Gnana Saraswati Temple is a Hindu temple of Goddess Saraswati located on the banks of Godavari River at Basar, Telangana, India. It is one of the two famous Saraswati temples in India, the other being in Jammu & Kashmir. Saraswati is the Hindu Goddess of knowledge and learning. Children are brought to the temple for the learning ceremony called as Akshara abyasam.

Nasik is a city in western India in the state of Maharashtra. Nasik is located in the north-west of Maharashtra near Gujarat state, 171 km (106 mi) from Mumbai and 210 km (130 mi) from Pune and is the administrative headquarters of the Nashik District and Nashik Division. With a population of 1.9 million, Nasik is the third largest city in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Pune. In terms of area it is second largest city after Mumbai and Nashik district is the eleventh most populous district in India.
Nashik is said to be the abode of Lord Rama during his 14 years in exile here. It is located on the banks of the Godavari which originates in the south-west of the city at Triyambakeshwar. It is one of the four places in the world where the Kumbh Mela is held making it one of the holiest Hindu cities. The city is a site for more than 100 ancient temples including the Kalaram Temple and Triyambakeshwar Shiva Temple.
The Anjaneri (or Anjneri) mountain, located 7 km from Triyambakeshwar in the Nasik district, is also claimed as the birthplace of Hanuman.
